Just good plain tobacco is what I am detecting. Almost a smokey mesquite scent as well. Not one that I jump to often by itself but it is wonderful for cutting other snuffs that are way over the top that need taming on certain days. I like to add about a 1/4 to 1/3 mixture of this to say "Cherry Menthol" for instance. Not only does it warm up some of that ice but it also adds a base note to the snuff. Great one to have around. In essence you are doubling your snuff inventory when you realize you can use this with anything and make different "shades of flavors" . Make sure you get two when you order because you will use more of this than you think. Indispensable!
