Newbie- advice needed on mild Sharrow snuff
Submitted by Paul Jolley on Wed, 02/13/2008 - 07:27.
Hi,
I am new to snuff, and am using it to cut down (pretty drastically) my smoking of tobacco. Gone from smoking 40 fags a day to 15
I am wondering what snuff(s) Sharrow do for newbies, as I am finding the SM medicated one they do too strong, feels like masochism if i'm honest.
PS I only want advice on Sharrow snuffs, a distant relative works for Wilson's of Sharrow, and recommennded it as the manufacturer with the broadest range.
Kind Regards,
Paul.

Hi Paul
Gold label is a mild snuff in the SP type (quite plain with some subtle flavouring) A milder, floral snuff is Carnation. All snuffs, even the mildest, will take a bit of getting used to for a beginner but these two represent two of Wilsons mildest. There are lots of similar types and Wilsons are only one of several makers here and abroad.
You might like to have a look at Snuffhouse.org. Thats a very lively forum, this one has really died out pretty much for some reason. There are new posts and discussions each day at Snuffhouse
Good luck

Wilsons Strawberry Snuff
Hi Paul,
I have just got a few new flavours into the Snuff Supermarket and you might want to try something like Wilsons Strawberry snuff or maybe the Apricot, which are slightly milder snuffs.
Otherwise, some of the other brands, particularly the Poschl and McChrystal's Original & Genuine are good starting points,

Just when you wanted a ciggy after your evening meal....
No longer.... Have a snort of Wilsons Irish Coffee, it has a delicate aroma of coffee and certainly fills the ciggy gap and beats the the 'After Eight' mint.
Not too strong but leaves a wonderfull after taste. A simple coffee flavoured snuff that all users new and old would appreciate.
