Snuff Review:

This snuff is most notable for its very fine grind, which causes a strange sensation of one's nostrils being coated in clay when it is insufflated. I may be betraying a lack of sofistication on my part, but this sensation makes it difficult for me to really appreciate the flavours present. It may also be that this snuff simply does not have the richness of, for instance, Samuel Gawith Irish D Light, which is the other toasted snuff with which I'm familiar. Or maybe the box that I got was a bit stale? Overall, however, it is the fine grind that defines this snuff for me, and for any Ali G fans out there who are still wondering if there is indeed anything "smaller than a sand", this snuff is way, way smaller than any sand.

Matures with Age

Hmm, interesting review from you. I find that the Gawith Hoggarth snuffs in particular seem to get better with age, which is unusual as most snuffs deteriorate.

I wasn't a big fan of GH snuffs to start with but their 'rootsy' flavours have definately grown on me.
