U.K. snuffers?

Surely there are enough U.K. snuffers to keep this forum alive?
Snuffhouse.org has a thriving forum but is largely american based. The U.K. has the best snuffs, so lets hear from those who use them! Gawith Hoggarth, McChrystals, Fribourg & Treyer, Toque, Samuel Gawith, Wilsons of Sharrow, and others are world leaders in snuff production, so let us support them with contributions to this forum.
Snuffhouse.org posters although largely american based use mostly U.K. snuffs!

New UK Snuffer here
Hello, I have only started taking snuff in the last few weeks (I did have a pinch years ago aged 16)
It started with a discussion I had with a colleague at work, we didn't know if snuff was banned in the UK.
I thought it was in a grey area of the Tobacco laws, and my friend thought it had been banned.
So in my research I stumbled across your site and it gave me some good info leading me to pay a visit to Smiths and Sons Charing Cross Road.
I had seen some good reports about this place, and some negative. However I made my purchases mainly small tins of Wilsons Menthol plus, Samuel Gawith ZIP, And McCrystals Original and Genuine.
Smiths shop was a nice little place, and I imagine in its hey day was fantastic. to be honest I didn't conduct a conversation with the girl behind the counter apart from the usual pleasantries.
The Shop itself had a fair range of Snuffs but on this visit I didn't poke around to much.
My favorite Snuff from this bunch would be the McCrystals.
Great for a beginner, But I did enjoy the Gawiths for a deeper Rich flavour (or should that be nose?)
So far my everyday snuff is the McCrystals.
I enjoyed my snuffing so much I paid another trip to Smiths and it was on this visit I discovered the range behind the counter, Their own brand (but I have heard its made by Gawiths??) This time I went for their own brand of Cinnamon Snuff. If you have a chat with the guy behind the counter he will help you choose some of their snuffs, but he can seem a little pre occupied, this time shoving a take away jacket potato into his gob. but between the mouth fulls he was helpful enough, but the price at £4.40
was a little steep compared to other snuffs.
The cinnamon snuff was good, a bit powerful for a newbie like me, but after the initial shock I got a pleasant cinnamon flavor and I will keep this snuff for Occasional use. which leads me to a question.....
How long does the Snuff stay good once the tin is opened?
McChrystals sure is a great
McChrystals sure is a great snuff.
It was the first snuff I bought (from this site of course!) and it was a great introduction.
I really like the freshness of the mild lemon - perfect for any time of the day.
Frustratingly, though snuff is completely legal I get far more hassle from my university friends over my snuff habit than smokers do.
I really enjoy exploring different snuffs to - keep up the good work new snuff initiate
Snuff Tobacco Forum
The more people who contribute to this site the better really. With the number of snuffers in the UK growing all the time there is a large amount of knowledge and advice out there so it would be great if the forum became more active.
I think if there are a regular group of contributors then the forum will naturally grow in size, it just needs regular new threads. I haven't spent enough time developing the site recently so am partly to blame for this, but it would be great if we could get a proper snuff community feel to this site as well.
