Should Snuff Be Allowed in the Workplace?

Do you think that snuff should be allowed in the workplace? Would your employer be offended if you had a pinch in the middle of the office or would they ask for a bit themselves.
Have you had any personal experiences of this?

One wishes one could!
As a secondary school teacher for over 15 years there are many times when I would have loved to have a pinch of very strong snuff whilst the kids were running wild, but unfortunately the head wouldn't have appreciated that.
I can't ever see snuff being that socially acceptable where it is used commonly at work, but one can only hope.
Snuffing at work
I sell Toque Tobacco and Snus Ice in Scotland, Wales and England. My first retailer
in the City of London is also the retailer with the highest turnover of Toque. He tells
me virtually all his customer’s use toque at work as smoking is banned in their offices.
An interesting development has been the reported use of Toque in call centres, massive
open plan offices where smoking would be impossible.

I like the look of the product Roderick and may have to try it myself. I reckon this could be a good clean option for snufftaking at work, especially for those of us that still crave Vitamin N, although I think my boss would still give me funny looks if i started snorting in the office. Still, you can but try!

Surely it's easy enough to have a quick sniff while you're in the bog?
Snuff in the School
I am a high school librarian for over 17 years and take snuff at work.
The head must be frightened of me.... (well I have seen off seven of them!)
should snuff be allowed in the workplace
I think its more a question of being able to get away with it. At this moment in time snuff is still comparatively unknown, despite the fact that its use will probably increase because of the various bans, it is rare to see people use it. As its not generally on the radar its not legislated for in the workplace and a discreet pinch, over and done in a few seconds, is easy to miss. I believe that if snuffing becomes common place it will be banned in the workplace just as much as cigarettes because that is sadly the world we now live in.
Hope Im wrong though, snuff has saved my sanity since the ban
