You are no doubt referring to snuffhouse.org. Snuffhouse is in no way superior to this - in some ways its less attractive - but it is generally a bit more user friendly, not a great deal but enough for it to matter. As you open up snuffhouse you are directly on the forum and its very easy to post. Its the tiny differences in ease of use that have a cumulative effect on how you feel about a site, in my view. Whilst I also have no objection to our US brothers in snuff it is a simple fact that when a site becomes dominated by yankees, it has an impact on the dynamics of the site. To be blunt the level of politeness goes down. Re-vamp the the site a bit and put the forum well up front and things may well improve. One of the reasons I don't come here much is that it seems weeks can pass before threads are updated.

snuffhouse is busier because its easier to use and the forum part is the first thing you see and its easier to post, re-vamp this site a bit and I think things will improve. Youi have to ask why weeks go by without any significant amounts of new posts and I believe if you configure the site a bit more like snuffhouse you will get a busier environment.

Snuffster The gold standard at the moment is snuffhouse, which I guess is what you are referring to. Its not superior in any deep way, but I think there is one key difference: the forum section is easier to drop into. Logging onto the system takes you straight to the front page, you can see the discussions in progress and its quicker to join in. Its as simple as that and I think a little bit of re-formatting will let this site grow. A couple of minor changes need to be made or else the posts will continue to be weeks apart. Apart from the forum side of things this is an extremely attractive site and there should be no reason why it should be any less busy?

Snuffster I think - with respect - that my point is proved by the fact that the only person to comment on my last is me! I am sure that Alex at Snuffhouse would be happy to have a a thread about this site on there. Ill write it if you like! I really urge a re-shaping of the site to put the forum part well up front.
