Snuff Dealer Caught in Saudi

A top Saudi Snuff Baron was arreseted yesterday in Makkah, Saudia Arabia. The man was caught in a police sting when he boasted that he could deliver large quantities of the smokeless tobacco product.

Police officers pounced on the man after arranging a pick up of 3000 packages of snuff or shamma as it is called in Saudi. The snuff baron of Saudi was tailed back to his lock up where police found 12,000 bags of shamma that had been cut with a dangerous substance.

In Saudi Arabia it is illegal to produce and sell shamma on the streets, although it is widely available in markets and bagalas (corner shops)
